we are fortunate
on this ancient island nation
-- under the Southern Cross --
to have a continuous
coast separating
vast oceans
east and west
tempestuous southern
seas, and to the north
the heavy heat of
tropical waters
the same land separates
numerous seas and oceans,
the same wind stirs
mighty seas, blowing
cyclones onto land
scouring everything
blasting the bones
of those that failed/died
on desert sands
a land of harsh extremes
once home to rugged people
that would spit in ur eye
if slighted
freedom liberty-loving
just and fair to the extreme,
we are the Australians -
you know us by reputation
our fighters have no equal
our sports men and women
always surprise,
an abundance of talent
for such a tiny population,
this land produces exceptional
and rare species
yet like everything else
we have our imperfections
primarily
gutless, incompetent,
treasonous and servile
politicians
all cast in the mold of colonial
clowns that obey imperial powers
after dumping bombs
on our Barrier Reef
the criminal yanks have docked
one of their naval destroyers DDGs,
-- nuclear missile capable --
in the heart of Sydney Harbour
it’s enough to make you spit
or to exact natural justice
from the treasonous politicians
that surrendered our sovereignty
to foreign powers
we do not forget treasonous
politicians easily nor
the crimes of previous colonial
overlords
we have not forgotten
we have not forgiven,
we remember
how to dispense
bush justice,
be very aware,
traitors and servile scum
the people did not approve
or vote for occupation
by warmongering foreigners,
what are their nuclear
war machines
doing on our sacred shores?
we are no-one’s convenience,
slaves or target
remember,
it only takes one missile
to remedy the problem
in Canberra,
the scum that made us
a primary nuclear target
are easily removed
remember,
we are obliged to defend
our nation,
we are the Australians
