there u were
and there i was
gone
for u,
to u
this sensation of falling
i know so well
a constant, warm
ecstasy
no cheap transient
thrill

how u fit so perfectly
into my eyes, mind,
soul and heart

u lingered, waited
for the moment to mature
and turned ur head back
over ur bare shoulder,
ur hair flowing like grasses
in a rushing stream,
swirling in slow motion
effortless
and held a glance
smiling --
that that moment
could continue forever

i could see,
hear,
taste,
smell u all
at once
every sense rolled
into a soft explosion
of delight
in my solar plexus,
mercy

i was hooked
completely captured
enraptured
by u
allowing myself to
surrender to your
magic

i should have resisted
and maintained
a semblance of identity
instead i entered
your sphere
of ecstasy
voluntarily

god help me
if we should
consummate
this initial attraction;
i shudder already,
quivering in the
delight of ur presence
fascinated by ur charm
intoxicated by your
scent

we spontaneously
kissed on the lips
in greeting
a kiss that
shot thru me
like warm fire
tantalising
and enlivening
every particle
of my being

wherever this goes
it will be memorable,
tumultuous is
too inadequate
a word
