Evangelicals Encounter a Mystic on the Road

a group-thinking cluster of evangelicals
encounter a christian mystic on the road,
their leader is instructing the others on their doctrine
of pre-determination/predestination

you see, he says, it was predestined that we encounter this person
on the road. the mystic somewhat amused stops and responds

it seems you are lost in arbitrary notions of time, he says

but god knows all, the past, present and future, replies
the leader

indeed, god is all-knowing, the mystic affirms, however,
god is not fooled or deceived by man-made, arbitrary
notions/delusions

what? time is real the past, present and future exist

only in the minds of the lost, deluded, fearful and manipulative, easily proven,
responds the mystic

No! sings the choir of deluded and profoundly lost evangelicals

Yes, insists the mystic, God is eternal, timeless
as infinity knows only the continuity of NOW!
try, produce the past or future, you cannot but you are able to appreciate
Now, the eternal present is self-evident.
time is only the arbitrary demarcations of blind men on immeasurable continuity,
created by men in order to enslave and organise, however,
god is not so easily duped or captured by the inanities of men

but surely the past is real, many architectural marvels from the past
exist today proving the past as real

indeed, it appears so, nevertheless they were built in the continuity of the present and remain
in the present though weathered and beaten by the elements, as whatever men create must decay and die, only continuity/infinity knows no decay or death, as it is not touched by time, god/eternity therefore is always NEW as his creation verifies by constant flux/regeneration and the uniqueness of all things, do not project your limitations and puniness onto god.

it is your perverse arrogant desire to control what you cannot control
that leads you to believe in dreams, you must map everything in your deluded dreamworld
allowing for nothing new/unknown to interfere with your anal Fixations.

your perverse notions are clearly contrary to god and his creation, plain to see. the ‘fixed,’
due to its static nature is measurable and measurement relies on arbitrary notions of time/space, the FINITE in other words, which does not exist except in the deluded minds of men, god is INFINITE and the finite and infinite are mutually exclusive, are you able to see the nose on your faces?

the evangelicals attempted to counter reality with dreams, they necessarily are taught and trapped in their shared dream/beliefs (group think) and prefer to live in a ‘pre-scribed’ box of other people’s designs.

they attempted but failed to counter with Calvin and jewish lawyer Paul, not one word from the gospels of christ, the LIVING god; indeed, let the dead bury the dead and the blind lead the blind, to quote the gospels.

the mystic bade farewell to the arguing evangelicals and resumed his way.
