we watched from (DMR) forty two
as they knocked old Tivoli down,
where did all the high kickin’
Tivoli girls go?

we watched Sydney history
collapse in a pile of rubble,
Laurie Brereton, as bent as ever
a Labor politician could be
built a monorail (for peter abeles)
in its place,
a horrid Sydney eyesore until
they took it down decades later

a Yankee (turned Aussie) girl
took Brereton down and became
the first female Premier of NSW,
she pissed in Brereton’s face
tho a nice Catholic girl
does not spread a leg too easily,
where did all the high-kickin’
Tivoli girls go?

Kristina is still pissin’ in corrupt
Labor faces at the ICAC,
where did all the high-kickin’
Tivoli girls go?
