(Hymn to the Goddess)

where r u
when i need u?

on the wind
ever about u

what of my needs?

closer than
ur beating heart,
be still and allow me
to envelop u

but i long for u

i have never left ur presence
ur mind agitates the sea
and u fail to see (me)

but i need ur reassurance, proximity

how much closer can i be
than inside ur heart,
mind and soul?

u r the object of all my love;
ceaseless is my passion and desire
for u after all this time

ur passion, love and desire
i amplify and return to u
ten-fold until a raging
furnace burns in ur being
for me alone

i am carried, transported,
ur enduring affection sustains
me

i am the scent of spring
the warmth of summer
the cool of autumn
and the crisp winter
chill
wherefore do u not find me?

u saw me in a smile
tonight
u heard me in her laughter
u touched me when u embraced
her body

as the sea envelops the world
i covered ur/her nakedness
with my being
i coursed with u in the throes
of passion

float now in my sea of ecstasy
and peace,
rest in my arms
breath easily and
sleep; i will deliver
dreams of glory

i have marked
a trail for u to follow
it leads to always/eternity
to my heart
which contains
all creation,
you are a most
welcome son

be vigilant
finish what u started,
do not waver and
i will ensure final victory
and complete fulfilment
