The View from Mount Meru
by stylus Thursday, Sep 19 2013, 12:55pm
international / poetry / post

from here the universe unfurls
before one’s eye,
forever
in blissful continuity
spiralling outward,
continuity seen
and apprehended -
understanding instantaneous,
complete,
as this ‘view’
necessitates participation,
total involvement

[all] secrets reveal themselves from
this unified position,
nothing is hidden from this perspective
everything opens when interrogated
and gladly reveals its innermost nature
as if it had been waiting to be
coaxed into full revelation/disclosure

nothing here wishes to dwell
in darkness or in secret,
would the glory of existence
hide and from whom?

all things delight in light
and bask in the glory of full exposure here,
all things open to this Light

from this altitude/attitude the greater harmony
becomes clear and
the perversity of humankind
is seen as incongruous to
the harmonious dance of creation

killing, lying, thieving and allowing
sick minded leaders to create discord
and lord over many
disturbs the symphony of creation

consequences that humankind
cannot see are discernible from here

inevitable purging of the aberrant from creation
and re-establishing harmony,
eradicating discord and restoring
balance is how the universe
asserts its perfect harmony

the dance of creation continues
forever
but without the sick
and destructive influence
of humankind
