i am aware of you
though i know u are
beyond the reach
of my five senses

of course
we are not limited
by the sphere we inhabit,
i remember

so where r u?
a lingering memory
or living reality,
what form do u take?

yes,
u are right again,
the form that i choose
at any given time,
u happily inhabit

u were never fussed
like the bimbos that spend
half their lives preening
in front of mirrors

appearances are not important
u are with me
as u promised --
presence
life is never extinguished
though bodies fall
like autumn leaves
life continues uninterrupted

while embodied u once appeared to me
as a flood of light,
pure love
no form or body
just light
heavy with qualities

u have led me outside
myself again
or maybe inside
but location is irrelevant

u are right
presence is only
worthy of recognition
