i watched her jump
so incongruous
a mammalian body awkwardly
plummeting
to the rocks below
she was unknown to me
tumbling in anticipation of cessation
but it doesn’t end there
no-one gets out
until the last jot and tittle
are accounted for,
u imagine infinity
is inept or stupid?
not on ur life
the lesson is always jump
with a suitable body
that doesn’t thud
to the ground
ejecting life -
jump with an image
or body of light
astral, ectoplasmic
even ethereal
but a gross physical body,
how thoroughly inappropriate
and foolish
