Twist and Turn
by gemma Friday, Apr 17 2015, 1:20am
international / poetry / post

sometimes i twist
at other times i turn,
court jester to my self

gyrating turning
like galaxies in space
befits my whirling,
turning, temperament

to a cosmic dance synchronised,
court jester to the stars

but i always return
to my form in the theatre
where i dance

and when rigidity
and ossification confront
i begin to spin again
until that which is immobile
moves and happily joins
the dance
